ABOUT THE HOME
Glentworth House itself is a large home which caters for predominantly elderly nursing residents. The safety of our residents, their guests, our staff and outside providers is always paramount and hence the house has a modern fire detection and alarm system which covers every room and corridor. Wide hallways and a passenger lift provide access to all areas within the Home and access for wheelchair users. The lounge has views and access to the terrace and rear garden which is accessible through the conservatory.

SERVICES
The home provides nursing care for thirty three residents and all rooms having en-suite facilities. There are 21 single rooms and 6 shared rooms in total, all of which have en-suite facilities, the majority with the benefit of a wet room. Every room within the home is tastefully furnished and has a colour television and emergency nurse call system and individual heating controls.

We continually aim to provide a safe, secure and comfortable environment for all our residents. Help is given to maintain independence and mobility. Residents are cared for as individuals and are encouraged to live their lives to the full. Central to our philosophy is the belief in respect for the individual and our recognition that Glentworth House Nursing Home becomes their home.

We have created a bright cheerful environment, with full 24-hour supervision by trained and experienced staff. A registered nurse is on duty at all times. All areas enjoy easy access and a wide range of mobility aids are provided including specialist baths, hoists, grab rails and specially adapted equipment.

The qualified catering staff provide a varied and nutritious daily menu to a very high standard and are able to cater for special dietary needs, all meals being freshly produced that day. Guests are welcome to visit during meal times.
